All of our aroma lamps and ceramic diffusers are ideally suited
for use with both fragrant and essential oils. The size of the area, the amount of fragrance desired, and your personal preference will dictate your choices.

Any fragrance is enhanced by warmth. A frozen cherry pie sitting on a kitchen counter emits virtually no fragrance. However, that same pie baking in the oven will fill an entire house with a delightful aroma. The same is true with our ceramic diffusers. The warmer the environment they are in, the more fragrance they will emit.

When selecting a fragrance and diffuser combination, please keep in mind that some fragrances are very delicate and remain a background scent, others combine with other scents already in the environment and have a neutralizing effect. Some are very heavy and can be almost overpowering if used in large quantities.

The glazed bottom will protect the surface of an object
you may wish to set the diffuser on.

However, because the oil does not permeate the glaze, this piece is not as effective as an unglazed diffuser.

Over time diffusers and aroma lamps may not seem as effective as they are at first. This is normal, and results from a natural tendency of the olfactory sense to adjust to prolonged or repeated exposure to a particular aroma or scent. To overcome this, most people rotate among several of their favorite fragrances at regular intervals.

Good Advice: Do not allow the unglazed portions of the diffuser to remain in contact with walls, furniture or upholstery. Oils can stain or damage some materials and finishes.

Do not overfill ceramic diffusers - Because the oil permeates the clay, excess oil will continue to soak through the diffuser until it drips. That might cause damage to adjacent surfaces!

To prevent spills, remove the light ring from the lamp and refresh as necessary.
